I don’t know why purple is the theme today, but I’m glad it is because it gives me an opportunity to post photos of purple Mustangs. It’s not a color you see too often on the original pony car, but it sure does look nice. Behold!

That white leather interior sure does pop with this shiny plum ‘66 vert.

This 1971 Mach 1 in violet is quite spiffy indeed!

Here’s a 1969 in a purple that borders on fuchsia, but I can’t complain here, either.

There’s a soft spot in my heart for any and all 1964 1/2 - 1968 Mustangs, and this 1967 fastback is no exception. *swoon*

This misty shade of lavendar is outstanding on this 1967 hardtop. These classic ponies look great in pastels, don’t they?

Traveling into the modern era, here’s a 2006 GT with purple and blue color shifting paint. I have a nail polish that would match this perfectly!

The sharp lines of a new edge ‘stang stand out in sharp relief with another color shifting paint combo.

The new shark-like body style of this 2015 definitely looks like it emerged from the ocean’s inky deeps in this pearlescent blue and purple:

I’d rock this wrap any day of the week and twice on Sunday. It’s out of this world!

Finally, mmm mmm mmm. Dat ass!

I would take that one or the 1967 hardtop, or the 2015 (as a boostang). I love Mustangs. Omnomnom!
